My name is Finn Semmer. I started out as a landscape photographer in Berlin. Since then, I have been very enthusiastic about outdoor photography, whether in the mountains, deep forests, snowy valleys or rough coasts. Since Berlin didn't fulfills my landscape requirements, I started with street and people photography. After a while I learned to look at the city from a different perspective. The city is also a kind of landscape, but not the kind of landscape that I usually have in front of my lens. The contrast between a wild landscape and a city made of stone and glass could hardly be stronger. Perhaps it is precisely this contrast that is so exciting and entices you to find new perspectives and capture the very special atmosphere of a city.
